Youth Ministry

The youth ministry serves Tarahumara teens by creating an alternative space to what society offers — a space where they can know they're loved and known by God, and feel accepted as they are. Every week offers indoor games, board games, and sports, and every youth night ends with Bible study and prayer. Once a month there's a girls'/boys' night: the girls do something like painting, spa time, or beading, while the boys play billiards or go paintballing. Our goal is that through these evenings the youth grow in confidence and trust with the leaders and deepen their understanding of the Bible and who Jesus is.
