Women's Ministry

Oaks of Righteousness has a big heart for the Tarahumara women. We build relationships through discipleship and mentoring young moms, visiting women and caring for them in difficult situations, and praying that they can break the cycles of poverty, abuse and hurt they have grown up in — and give their children a brighter future, teaching them to teach their own children about the Bible even at a young age. The time spent connecting helps these women begin to see their identity in Jesus Christ: beautiful, loved and valuable. Our desire is for these women to have a safe space to just be themselves, to feel loved and supported, and to learn who they are in Christ so that they too may pass this on to their children.
