Mountain Ministry

We share God's love and the gospel in two mountain villages, Rosanachi and Corarayvo. In Rosanachi, monthly trips bring food to the “Store,” where Tarahumara people from the surrounding villages come and trade arts and crafts for food — but first they receive spiritual food: someone shares a passage of the Bible with them in their language, and the children have their own Bible class. We are currently working on building a permanent building for the evangelism events to take place.

In Corarayvo, we hold an annual three-to-five-day Vacation Bible School program, which is also the perfect opportunity to visit villagers and build relationships. Our prayer for these two villages is that they will come to understand the gospel and allow Jesus to become a part of their village.
