Kuira! I hope this newsletter finds you well. As we enter November, so the Christmas songs have begun as we practice for our Christmas program. What a beautiful sound to hear the students singing wholeheartedly!

This past month we had the opportunity to sing at the Old Folks Home in a neighboring town. The students practiced for many weeks and they did a wonderful job! Our prayer is that these children will come to understand how precious they are and that they would use their life to love God and bless others. You can watch the video on our Instagram and Facebook pages "Oaks of Righteousness."

In October we also had the opportunity to help invite people for another evangelical event in the same neighboring town. This time we took all the students, and it was a joy to see our little girls running up to people to invite them… and then there I was running behind them to help them get the details right in their invitation. One of our little girl’s invitation consisted of “You are invited to the park on Sunday. There will be free food!” I am reminded of the verse in Matthew 18:6, “If anyone causes one of these little ones – those who believe in me – to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” It’s wonderful and refreshing to see the faith of children. They don’t struggle to believe God is good and He loves them, they just believe because a parent or a teacher told them so. It is truly and honor to tell these students about Jesus!
We also went back up to the mountains to visit Ana Cristina this past month. She was very happy to see us. It was refreshing to take a break from civilization and enjoy nature. Here is an update from her:
“Greetings brothers and sisters, I want to share with you about the month of October what God is doing here in the community. I have 9 children at school because one more has returned; 5 plus those who go to the public school but come when they don't have classes and they really want to learn more about God, even though their parents don't support the school. God has given him the desire to know Jesus more and it is a blessing. The students are very happy because their classmates returned and they are very encouraged. Among my family, God has worked a lot so that now we are a little more united than before and there are changes in some spiritual areas, such as their way of thinking. It is a great blessing! I thank God who gives me strength, his provision and care for me. Please pray for my dad and mom in their spiritual life and health. Pray for the children of the community so that they will come to know our God more. Pray for me, so that God gives me strength both in spiritual and physical life. Thank you very much for your prayers and for your support of this work for God. God bless you From: Ana Cristina Gonzalez Espino.”
Cande, our former student, is currently in Guaymas, Sonora, serving as an intern at the mission Ciudad de Refugio. Please keep her in your prayers as she continues to adjust to city life as well as living with a whole new culture.
Cande absolutely loves helping with the kids and sends us endless pictures with them!

My sister Pollyanna recently started riding lessons with 2 boys from the community. Another wonderful way to invest in these young lives and show them God's Love!
We are so grateful for what God is doing both here in Cuauhtémoc area, as well as in the mountains. Please continue to keep us in your prayers and thank you so much for your faithfulness in reading our updates and praying for us. We couldn’t be here without your prayers and support. If you would ever want to come visit and see the mission for yourself, we would love to have you! Thank you! God bless! Amanda
