Hello from Mexico! Just like that, we are coming to the end of May! This past month has been a warm one and I am so excited to see the cherries, peaches and pears growing on my trees back in Cuauhtemoc!

At the beginning of May, Ana and I went back to Cuauhtemoc to attend our second grad at Oaks of Righteousness Ministry! I felt so proud of our student as she graduated the program and is now preparing to go into the mission field! Please keep her in your prayers a God continues to guide her.

Ana and her friend, who recently rededicated her life to Christ, continue to meet weekly as they study the book of John. It is wonderful to see the enthusiasm of both ladies as they study the scriptures so they can know Jesus more. "I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me." Proverbs 8:17.

This past month we were helping families register their children so they would receive a birth certificate. Since babies are often born at home, the parents don't register their children. This causes problems when they want to enter school. Another reason why children don't get registered is because of the language barrier and families often experience discrimination when they try to do legal paperwork.

I also want to share about our Saturday Bible study with the youth. 3-4 girls show up regularly and it is so neat to see their excitement about learning new things. Ana also teaches them arts/ crafts such as beading jewlery and so on. The girls are opening up to us and have a hard time leaving when it is time to go home. This past Saturday, after the class, they came to the reservoir where I was doing laundry just to talk. It was so sweet to see them practicing their Spanish as they are still learning. They ended up jumping into the reservoir and swam for a while. I asked them if I could take a picture, at first they were reluctant, but then one of them said "Then I want a real picture", meaning she was asking if I would print it out for her. I realized how special pictures were to them. My parents have albums full of pictures of me growing up and many of these children don't even have one.

I am continuing my training with Discipleship International; Ana and I are currently in the 5th book. I am so thankful for the opportunity to receive this training! I have learnt so much about the Bible, my faith in Jesus, and how to put it into practice. One of the memory verses that constantly comes to my mind is John 14:21, "Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each one of them." So often I have struggled to know if I am in God's will or not; I search for 'signs' to confirm His Will. In Discipleship and especially through this verse, I realize His Will is for me to obey the Bible. And to be able to do that, I need to be in His Word... and the more time I spend in His Word, the more He will reveal Himself to me! We truly serve an awesome God that desires to make Himself known to us!

Lastly, I want to share that 2 of our interns finished their term here and returned to Canada. We were sad to see them go, as we really enjoyed serving alongside them, but I am excited to see how God will continue to work in their lives and use them at home! We were truly blessed to have them here! In a month, we will be taking a summer break, but by fall the ministry will be in full swing again, so if you or someone you know would like to come serve God at Oaks of Righteousness for a time, please let us know!

Praise and Prayer:

- Praise God for providing the ministry with a 15 passenger van!

- Praise God for the children who are eagerly attending school here in the mountains and for Ana's determination and love for her people, as she prepares to take over this ministry in fall.

- Pray that God would provide a permanent building for the school (in Cuauhtemoc), as our current, temporary building is only available from October-April.

- Pray for Sandra as she is nearing the end of her time at YWAM Creel.

- Pray for open doors to share the gospel with people in the community as well as our students and their families back in Cuauhtemoc.

- Please pray for our other intern who is preparing to leave at the beginning of June. Pray for safe travels.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. It truly is a blessing to work together with you as we share God's love with the people here in Mexico! God bless!
