March Newsletter: Amanda on Mexico
Hola! I pray you are doing well! I want to thank you so much for your prayers and support. What a blessing to have brother and sisters in the Lord standing behind me, praying for the ministry. I know I couldn’t be here without you, so thank you for being a part of this ministry!

The month of March flew by! We took the students on their first missions trip to Oasis, a town about 5 hours away. The kids were beyond excited to go, as we would be spending a night there. I was so very proud of the students as they did their very best singing, presenting the drama and taking over the Sunday school program. I love seeing how the kids have grown and changed. It often takes for someone to be taken out of their comfort zone for him/her to truly put into practice what they have learnt. Students that were once so afraid of being on stage and using a microphone were now confidently singing solos for the congregation. Students that used to shyly huddle together, not talking to anyone, when they were in a place they didn’t know anyone; they were now playing with the children, joining the adults in volleyball/ soccer… out of themselves! Praise the Lord! I know he has beautiful plans for each one of these students. Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

The baptism candidates sharing their testimonies
Another exciting thing that happened this month was that 12 people in the church made the decision to be baptized! Praise God! Many of the are newer Christians and would appreciate your prayers that they would continue to seek God’s will for their lives and pick up their cross daily to follow Him. 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
The last thing I want to share with you is that this  past week I had the opportunity to speak with the directors of Discipleship International Mexico from Monterrey. I was so excited to meet them and they are willing to train me and some people from our church in a 2 year discipleship program. This is an answer to prayer because I have had a strong desire to to receive training in how to disciple people and present the gospel more effectively for quite some time now. How truly amazing how God brings people into our lives that we would never have imagined. Please pray for the people who will be entering the discipleship program with me, that we could all be committed to learning and would  be more effective in our service to Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 33:3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'
Thank you so much for taking time to read these newsletters. Your prayers are truly appreciated and and I hope one day you will have the opportunity to come down personally and see what God is doing here! God bless! Amanda
